Prove authority
Agent verification
A hospital, officer, or school should be able to confirm guardianship authority in seconds, see only what that check allows, and leave a record the guardian can read later.
In the works. You can run a check and see it on the guardian’s history. Hospitals and officers are not on a live required network.
What you are looking at
The check an outside agency uses: a QR code, a temporary link, a driver-license match the guardian opted into, or a case number. Each one asks for a purpose first.
What it is trying to accomplish
Paper Letters are slow, easy to question, and leave no trail of who looked. A live check against the authenticated record is meant to replace “fax us the order.”
The result is an authority snapshot — health care yes or no, inpatient mental health, an expiry — not the file itself. A temporary link can be narrower still, such as school enrollment with no mental-health detail. Every verification is supposed to show up on the guardian’s history. A silent query misses the point.
If what you see on the screen does not match this, that is useful to know. Send feedback.
