DEMO / PROTOTYPE

The Guardian Assist software is not a court-adopted system and is not legally authoritative. For demonstration and feedback only — do not rely on it for filings, verification, or care decisions.

How it works

What you can try, grouped by the job it belongs to. Each note is the same idea behind the small i on that screen: what you are looking at, and what it is trying to accomplish.

Tours

A short walk through the major pieces. Next, previous, or quit whenever you want.

  • Overview

What the prototype is trying to do, in a few stops.

  • Apply for guardianship

From the situation to a summary you can hand someone.

  • I already have Letters

Register, then the case starts keeping the work.

Or ask “How do I…”

The assistant can answer questions like these. Edit one if you want, then send. Nothing is filed or mailed until you confirm.

Getting in

  • Getting in

    Explore the demo

These doors let you walk the product as a guardian, a clerk, a hospital or officer, a provider, or an interested party. The point is to feel each job the system is trying to take on, not to create a real account.

Still ahead. Clerks and agencies will eventually sign in through their own organizations. These doors are so you can try each job before that exists.

  • Getting in

    Seeking guardianship

Getting appointed is often as hard as living with the appointment afterward. This page is trying to take one telling of the situation and turn it into a plain-language path and a summary a family can hand to an attorney or the Self-Service Center.

Still ahead. The opening court case is not filed from here. The page organizes the situation and a summary for an attorney or the self-help center.

  • Getting in

    Start or register

This is the front door onto a case, whether you already have Letters or you are still seeking them. Assist asks whether to use the form, the conversation, or documents you already have, and the form on the page fills in as you go.

Still ahead. The form fills in while this page is open. Closing the laptop does not restore a half-finished registration. A dropped file is stored; names and dates show up when that reading finishes, and Assist asks for anything it could not read.

  • Getting in

    Cases

Cases splits into two phases. Letters are the cases you work after appointment. Pending is getting guardianship, before letters are authenticated. The case you worked most recently is first on its tab.

Still ahead. Mail signatures and the Cc line still live on Account. Communications under the case list is where every case forwards. A case can replace that for one channel, and clearing the case value follows this list again.

  • Getting in

    Account

Account is the person, not one case. Contact keeps a mailing address, a phone, and an email, each with a default. Security is the login name, password, and passkey, plus recovery. Mail holds signatures and the Cc line for a letter.

Still ahead. A text code at sign-in is not sent. A password reset still goes to email: the login name, then each confirmed recovery email. Card numbers are not stored; Stripe takes the payment.

Prove authority

  • Prove authority

    Verification history

Every time someone checks this guardianship — a hospital, an officer, a school — the case records when, who, why, and how much was shown. That history is yours, for your own audit and if you ever need to account for a disclosure.

  • Prove authority

    Welcome messages

After Letters are verified, the offices that need to know — a school, a bank, a clinic — can get one notice from the case, with a link that shows only the authority you choose to share.

Still ahead. You can draft the notice and limit what a link would show. It is not delivered to a real school, bank, or clinic.

  • Prove authority

    Agent verification

A hospital, officer, or school should be able to confirm guardianship authority in seconds, see only what that check allows, and leave a record the guardian can read later.

Still ahead. You can run a check and see it on the guardian’s history. Hospitals and officers are not on a live required network.

  • Prove authority

    Clerk authentication

A clerk confirms the Letters and orders before anyone else is meant to rely on them. Authenticate is a human decision. The system can highlight what it extracted; it must not authenticate a file by itself.

Still ahead. A person still has to press Authenticate. This queue is the prototype of that review, not a court’s own system.

Case record

  • Case record

    Case overview

This is the case as a whole: who it is for, what authority is on file, and what the system is already tracking. The aim is that you manage the exceptions, and the case runs the repeating work.

  • Case record

    Artifacts

Documents and recordings for this case live in one list. Filter by kind, where the file came from, what it belongs to, file type, or tag. A transcript sits with a recording when that transcript has been paid for.

  • Case record

    Adding a document

Files on this case are stored encrypted. Adding one lets the system read the file and propose what it is. If that reading is not sure, it asks you before the name sticks.

  • Case record

    Case communications

This is the case’s own record of email, and later texts and calls — not a view of a personal inbox. The aim is to keep each lifecycle in one place, securely, so the system can assemble the next email, filing, or grievance from what actually happened. You still approve anything that goes out.

Still ahead. The log and the drafts are here to try. Live email into the case mailbox is not connected yet. Text and Phone on Send open the apps on your phone and can note that on the case. They are not sent by Guardian Assist.

  • Case record

    Evidence Index

When a letter, grievance, or filing needs exhibits, this builds the list from records already on the case. You should not have to collect the same emails and documents out of a personal inbox a second time.

  • Case record

    AI compositions

Drafts of emails, grievance narratives, and replies are assembled from records you pin on this case. The model is not supposed to invent the history, and nothing leaves until you approve it.

Still ahead. You can pin case records and read a draft. The draft does not send itself, and it does not fill the court forms.

Stay legal

  • Stay legal

    Court filings

eFile is treated as the place a finished package goes, not a wizard you re-learn. The case already has the facts, the parties, and the deadline. You review and approve; the page keeps what was submitted and who was told.

Still ahead. You can review a package and see who would be notified. Handing it to the real Arizona eFile system is simulated.

  • Stay legal

    Stay legal this year

The annual report is a clock the case is supposed to run: which clinician must sign, when to ask, and when the filing is due. Your job is to confirm the provider and approve what goes to the court, not to chase a fax machine.

Still ahead. The deadline and the provider request are here to walk through. The clinician’s reply and the court’s acceptance are simulated.

  • Stay legal

    Renew mental-health authority

Inpatient mental-health powers expire on their own clock, separate from the ordinary annual report. Renewal needs an evaluation by a psychiatrist or psychologist, requested early enough to file before the authority lapses.

Still ahead. The expiry and the evaluator request are here to walk through. The evaluation coming back, and the court filing, are simulated.

  • Stay legal

    Preserve records

When a grievance starts, the first move is to tell the organization to keep the records — by certified mail to its registered agent — and to log that demand on the case. This page is that letter, not advice about whether you should send it.

Still ahead. You can address the letter to the registered agent and tender it through the mail pipeline. A live ward letter stays off Lob until their BAA is accepted. A personal settlement letter can be sent from /mail/settlement.

  • Stay legal

    Ward in a unit

An inpatient placement starts a short clock to notify counsel and to tell the facility who the guardian is. The case is meant to run that clock and keep the notices with the rest of the record.

Still ahead. The counsel clock and the facility card are here to try. They stay on the case; they are not transmitted to a live unit.

  • Stay legal

    Provider desk

A clinician’s only job here is to acknowledge the request and return the report by the date the case already calculated. Guardians should not be chasing that, and providers should not be dropped into the family’s Letters upload.

Still ahead. The demo desk shows the request and the date the report is due. Real clinics do not sign in here yet.

People and offices

  • People and offices

    Arizona agency landscape

This is a knowledge base of the courts, health plans, clinics, flex-care companies, and oversight offices around serious mental illness and guardianship in Arizona. Listing them is not the point. The case is supposed to know which court and plan you are in, bring those actors forward, and explain what each one actually does.

Still ahead. The page opens that conversation from the county and ward already on the case. Offices light up on the chart as they come up. The coverage list under the conversation is the set of situations a playbook can run.

  • People and offices

    Address book

The people who must receive notice on this case live here so a filing can select them instead of asking you to rebuild the list every time. Statewide offices can appear too, when they actually sit on the case.
