Case record
Artifacts
Documents and recordings for this case live in one list. Filter by kind, where the file came from, what it belongs to, file type, or tag. A transcript sits with a recording when that transcript has been paid for.
What you are looking at
One list: uploads, email attachments, AI drafts, court forms, and eFile packages, plus recordings such as a voicemail, a staffing, or a hearing.
An eFile package is the lead filing. Exhibits stay their own files in this list. A court packet that explains what to file and where to get training is a playbook; the papers that packet produces are artifacts.
What it is trying to accomplish
The same file can be a PDF, an email attachment, and an exhibit. Those are different ways of looking at it, so the filters stack: document or recording, source, category, type, and tag.
Each stored file is encrypted, with a fingerprint, so a later copy can be checked against what was saved. A recording shows Included, Not purchased, or Not on file for its transcript.
If what you see on the screen does not match this, that is useful to know. Send feedback.
